The Flying Knights Model Aircraft Club started in the 1950's as a group of control line, free flight, and early R/C aeromodelers, located in Troy New York. The group formalized their organization in 1957, and went on to be chartered with the Acdemy of Model Aeronautics as AMA 445.
This section of the FKMAC website will be expanding in the future, as we add phtographs, stories, and other information that depicts the history of Northeastern New York's oldest AMA chartered aeromodeling club!
